At BCREN, we regularly meet people who are interested in commercial real estate but are not sure where to begin.

So we created Introduction to Commercial Real Estate, a practical guide designed to help people understand how the industry fits together.
The guide covers topics including property types, ownership and investment, brokerage, property and asset management, development, financing, commercial leases, CAM, NOI, cap rates, professional services, and the many different career paths within the industry.
Commercial real estate is broad, and you do not need to understand all of it before getting started. The goal is to understand the ecosystem, identify where your existing skills may fit, and figure out what you want to learn next.
